About NEPTA
The NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) is an association of transit providers, vendor and industry specialists dedicated to promoting transit issues at the local, state, regional, and national levels.
NEPTA’s Mission: The NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) is a non-profit association of passenger transportation professionals, in the public and private sectors whose mission is:
-Promote professionalism in its industry through conferences and workshops,
-Disseminate information on issues of interest within the urban and rural passenger transportation communities,
-Promote interchange networking cooperation and fellowship among its members and other related organizations,and to
-Represent the concerns of its members on issues of federal and regional interest.
The NEPTA membership consists of over 200 members throughout the six northeastern states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hamsphire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Each state is represented on the NEPTA Board of Directors. Additional board members represent vendors and other transportation companies in accordance with the NEPTA bylaws.
